KRISTA FOX

INTERIOR DESIGNER, SPEAKER, AND FOUNDER OF KRISTA FOX INTERIORS

  • Learning the Foundations to Fly

My design career began with the study of interior design and interior architecture. Both degrees helped me establish a strong starting framework in architecture and design principles.

After finishing my studies, I moved to New York and worked for a series of large, fast-paced design firms. Through my experience working under design masters such as John Saladino and Victoria Hagan, I developed an ability to understand client's needs and motivations. In working with a firm specializing in restaurant and hotel design, I became acutely aware of the impact elements of design have on our mood and well-being.

Curiosity led me to wonder how we could harness that same thinking for our homes. Courage led me to open my own design studio to explore these ideas further.

In 1994, I moved to Connecticut and established Krista Fox Interiors. I combined the foundational knowledge I’d gained over the years with a deeper understanding of design to explore how we can use it to inspire feelings and responses.

Today my team and I at KFI are honored to help clients across the US define and design their dream homes. We get to influence and inspire the space where our clients begin and end their day… there’s nothing more rewarding than that!
